Low Cost – Well Made – Reflex Sight
The Ohhunt U2 reflex sight is a very low cost, but well built, reflex sight system for low recoiling rifles & pistols. I have mine in a green 3 MOA dot mounted on a Picatinny rail on top of a Ruger Mark IV 45/22 pistol in 22 LR caliber. It holds zero easily, has a crisp dot, and has a “shake awake” feature so when you move the pistol it activates the green dot.I highly recommend it for 22 rifles & pistols.

Maybe good on a 22
Didn’t hold zero on my 9mm.

Crisp Dot, Solid Build – Great Value for the Price!
I’ve been using the ohhunt RD U2 Shake Awake 3 MOA Dot Sight, and I’m seriously impressed with its performance, durability, and clarity. It’s a fantastic budget-friendly alternative to higher-end optics without sacrificing quality.Key Highlights:🔹 Crystal-Clear 3 MOA Dot – The dot is sharp and bright, with multiple intensity settings that work well in different lighting conditions. No distortion or excessive blooming.🔹 Shake Awake Feature – A huge plus! It turns on instantly when motion is detected and powers down when not in use, helping conserve battery life.🔹 RMR Footprint & Picatinny Mount – Super versatile and easy to install. Fits perfectly on my setup without any hassle.🔹 Durable & Lightweight – The aluminum housing feels solid, and it holds zero even after repeated recoil. Works great on pistols, rifles, and shotguns.🔹 Affordable Yet High-Quality – For the price, it competes with much more expensive optics and performs exceptionally well.Pros:✔️ Sharp, adjustable dot brightness✔️ Sturdy and lightweight design✔️ Shake Awake for battery efficiency✔️ Easy to mount and holds zero✔️ Excellent value for moneyCons:❌ None so far – just wish I had got another one for my other setup! If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-packed micro reflex sight at a great price, the ohhunt RD U2 is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

Nice cheap red dot
Picked this up for a range toy build I’ve got going. Seems to be a decent quality red dot, although it doesn’t compare to my Trijicon, Aimpoint, and EoTech sights. This is a basic range worthy red dot that seems to be fairly durable for basic use, however I don’t believe it will hold up to the battle ready sights I’ve used in the past and the heavy duty sights I currently have on my daily use weapons. This sight has a nice field of view, clear optics, and a dot that doesn’t seem to be impacted by parallax for the most part. Multiple brightness settings are available including two night vision settings that I haven’t had a chance to test with my NVG’s, but will in the future and will update the review if I run into problems. As with other « shake-awake » sights I’ve used in the past, it must be turned off unless it’s being used since any weapon carried in a vehicle, pack, bag, or holster is going to be moved around and the sight will be constantly on, draining the battery in a quick fashion. Works great on a weapon that will be kept in a safe, closet, or nightstand. Overall a decent sight for the money.

Great for Under $100
This is a very nice reflex sight, perfect for a pistol, PCC, or shotgun. I find that the view window might be a little bit small for an MBR, and you’d have to get your own riser. The dot itself is very crisp, and getting it calibrated is easy enough to do with the supplied tool. I use a laser bore sight tool and make the dot line up with the laser, and this always gets me on paper right away. I then fine tune it when actually shooting at the range. Using a red laser and green dot makes it especially easy to do. Installing the battery, which was included, is also easy to do, though you do have to take care when putting the battery cap back on, to make sure you don’t get it cross-threaded. The only thing I did not like about this product, and it was not enough to take away a star, was the included cover. It appears that the silicon cover they provided might be for a larger gun sight, because it fits lose and has a large gap in the front portion. All in all, a very solid performer, for a very reasonable price.Five Star Value Priced Small Form Factor Green Dot Reflex Sight

Would not recommend
The red dot is very blurry and looks spider webby. Seems to be cheaply made.

Red Dot will not stay on
Change the battery twice. Red Dot Fades out after shooting only a few rounds like the battery is going dead. Don’t know why then works fine. Then does it again

Surprisingly sollid
This has surprised me for its quality and build. Has held zero and functions perfectly. Glass is clear and fit RMR footprint plates perfectly. Very low deck height which still allowed for stock irons to be used.Only downside is the « shake awake » feature. It works as it should but the dot returns slowly. There were instances where I picked it up and the dot was still coming to brightness. Would not recommend for Duty use but perfect for targeting and casual use
