ohhunt? ohyeah!
Before using this sight, I thought red dots just wouldn’t work for me. The models I used in the past were either too bright for my astigmatism to handle, or their lenses were too small to get a good sight picture with. I love the circle+dot combination for quick initial alignment and fine precision. Adjustable brightness means I can keep the reticle visible without turning into a starburst. Shake-awake is thoroughly responsive. The reticle is consistently on as soon as I draw. I haven’t had it long enough to say how the battery life is affected by that. But even if it’s substantially shortened, with the money you save on this dot you can afford plenty of replacement batteries. It took about five minutes to install with 15in.lb. of torque and some blue threadlocker and it feels secure. I recommend having a torque wrench on hand (remember, INCH pounds, not foot!) because it’s really the only specialized tool you need to install it properly. All other tools are provided. The pic rail adapter seems good quality too, but I haven’t tried it on a rifle yet.I’m thoroughly impressed with the build quality, packaging, included tools, and ease of use. If this continues to work out, I’d recommend it for anyone who wants a multi reticle dot for extremely good value.

Great Optic for LTT Mounts
This is my second Ohunt brand optic. First one is very nice, so, when I needed a new one for my P30L with the Langdon Tactical plate, I decided to give this one a try. Thing is built well and appears to be pretty durable. I suppose time will tell, but I have good feelings about it. It has a massive window. If you have a smaller pistol, probably not the best for you. On the P30L, it is a good fit with some over hang on the sides. If anyone is wondering about cowitnessing with the LTT RMR plate, it is great. I have approximately 2.5mm of sight in the lower section. Can’t really say « lower 1/3 » since the window is so massive it barely makes a dent in the space. But still usable, so a win. And it fits super snug in the plate. So much so that I had to try a couple of different angles to get it to seat. Almost zero wiggle room (which is nice for a change). As strange as it is to say, I think the brightest setting may be too bright for anything other than a clear, sunny day. Not to worry…it has plenty of adjustment. For the money, I can’t see why anyone would shell out 3 or 4 times the cost for a different name brand. Just too good a value on this thing. I’ll get to the range this weekend if the weather cooperates and we’ll see how it does with live fire.

Sharp red dot.
The ohhunt RD U4MR Multi-Reticle Red Dot Sight comes with the sight, mount, CR2032 battery, and tools. The quality seems solid with an aluminum body that’s shockproof and holds zero after rough handling. I really like the multi-reticle options because they let me switch for different ranges fast. The directions were straightforward, just mount on the rail and zero it in but it was a pain to do due to its size. The sight works well for hunting with 8 brightness levels and unlimited eye relief.

So far so good nice RMR
Only had one range day with this ohhunt red dot on my glock 19 but after a few hundred rounds I really dig this RD U4 rmr optic. Sighted in very easy and used my same tool that comes with holosun fit the elevation & windage slots perfect they are not a tiny screwdriver cut. The glass was very good & the large window is awesome plus the dot is plenty bright in bright sunlight also feels like its made well. After trying all three reticles i think i prefer the crosshair w/dot but easily can change between the 3 options. I compared this sight to vortex defender st, holosun eps, Cylee chameleon, zulisy oak plus & votatu pmds04, quite a few other amazon budget options, can’t say much for extending reliability/durability but time will tell. Honestly if i see this ohhunt model go back on sale I’m definitely buying a second one.

Not impressed and kinda disappointed
The construction of the reflex red dot seems to be well made. When it comes to the red dot itself, the single red dot is more of the miss-shapen triangle in the screen and the circle is blurry as all get out, almost like there are two circles that just dont line up on top of one another. The red dot and circle together is just a red blob on the screen. Kinda disappointed based on the price paid for this sight. Haven’t shot my AR9 with it yet but not having high hopes based on the out of the box first impressions. Any type of precision shooting will not likely work based on what I have seen thus far. Might return it but haven’t made my mind up yet.

Light weight, but includes a large view window for quick target acquisition
I own several reflex sights for handguns and have used others when out shooting with friends. The U4MR Ohhunt sight is by far the best one I have used. The larger window makes a big difference in quickly finding and aligning the reticule on the target. The option of a larger red circle reticule makes this even quicker and still provides the necessary precision (I prefer the round reticule without the center dot). Despite being larger than my other reflex sights, the 7075 aluminum keeps it surprisingly light. Aluminum 7075 is also more resistant to scratches and damage. The side access battery compartment makes changing out batteries trivial (if you have an extra battery and the included tiny Allen wrench). Even better, the sight includes a solar panel on the top, so if you are in a well lit place (pretty much always the case for target practice), the battery will be conserved. The shake awake function makes it unnecessary to turn on the sight when kept for self defense. The sight remembers the last used reticule and brightness settings. The controls are simple, just two buttons and the sight adjustment dials (they work the same as other sights I have used, but instructions are included). A dust/protective cover is also included along with a large number of replacement screws and wrenches.
